“When it became very clear that our dear Cali had reached the end of her days with us, we were so grateful to be able to make an appointment on short notice on a Saturday to have her put down. Dr. Giguere and vet tech Lauren (I hope I got that right!) were so very compassionate and gentle with both Cali and us. Their process is so thoughtful, and we had all the time we needed to be alone with her and bid her the gentlest and most loving of goodbyes. So very difficult, but we strongly recommend this practice!“

“We’ve, unfortunately, had to visit PetMedic multiple times for our dogs – they love having issues just outside of normal office hours. Each time we’ve gotten great care, from when we arrive to when we leave. The entire staff is welcoming and easy to work with. We’ve gotten some bad news before, and they were fantastic at communicating and giving next steps. The prices are reasonable – midway between a normal vet visit and what you’d pay at Port City. And they’re very upfront and transparent about costs. Highly recommend them for when your normal vet isn’t available!“

“Had a great experience with my cat, Mr. Meow! He had an irritated eye, and they were super sweet with him and took care of us fast. Sent him home with some eye ointment and pets! Such friendly staff, you can tell they truly care about the pets you bring in!“

“I drove from Florida to Alexandria to see my mom, but my trip turned not so good quite fast. I noticed some blood in my dog’s urine. I immediately made an appointment here to get him in quickly. The staff went above and beyond. Dr. Thay and all of the techs were incredible. I wouldn’t recommend them enough. Nugget is very wary of new people, but he knew the techs and vets were here to help him. Prices were fair and good, but the care is most important to me. I hope I don’t have to come here again, but this would be my first choice. They even brought Nugget and me both water as well as spray cheese for Nugget since he was such a trooper for his X-rays.“

“Just like with your human baby, you want to know that your fur baby is getting quality treatment from professionals who really care. And here They Do! My list of questions answered, I didn’t feel rushed, and I wasn’t pushed to get super expensive treatments that could be re-evaluated at a later date. Loved that the staff were multiple pet owners, so they understood my heartfelt concerns. My fur-baby was loved. I’m so glad my Deena has a medical ‘home’ if and when needed. They even watched my girl while I went to get my car! Highly recommended. There is a reason why they’re rated so highly. You will not be disappointed!“
